I have motherboard with a built in ethernet chip and i have added a linksys ethernet card, I have the network cable connected to the linksys card.
When i try to use any os in virtualbox it will only see the motherboard chip not the linksys card, so it won't connect to the net. How do i tell virtualbox which connection to use? thanks don |

Is the built in ethernet port not functioning or broken? I'd assume so, but under Settings, select Network, ensure Enable Network Adapter is checked.
Then select the appropriate "Adapter Type" in the drop down menu followed by selecting the apprpriate "Attached To" More information can be obtained from the user manual (http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) Nats
