My language is Spanish. Sorry for errors...
The last release of 'dblatex' package (0.2.12) is available from August, 2009, and available for download. The current version of this package on MEPIS 8 is (0.2.9-3). This is my first post and I do not ability to write URLs, but the respective information is in 'SourceForge.net' site. As the referred last release contains several good changes I need for work, I was wandering the possibility to trust you to make a package for me. Waiting your response I appreciate your attention. |

OK, I have rebuilt the package from Debian Testing for you. I changed a dependency from python-apt (>= 0.7.9) to the current Lenny version (0.7.7) to make it quick and easy to build, but I don't know what may happen as a result.
If you have problems because of this, let me know, and I'll try backporting python-apt also. Link: https://sites.google.com/site/stevos...12-2.1_all.deb

The Spanish hyphenation feature of 'dblatex' does not work as expected (so much in the new release of 'dblatex' as in the old).
I did testing, and on /var/tmp/.../mybook.log I did find the following messages: Package babel Warning: No hyphenation patterns were loaded for (babel) the language `Spanish' (babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead. Do you know how to resolve this? Thanks newly. Last edited by azur : 01-03-2010 at 01:32 PM. Reason: Aditional information |

I found this in the Manual at the Sourceforge site:
Babel Languages Dblatex should be able to handle most of the languages supported by the babel package. Just set the lang=lang attribute in the root document element and dblatex will load the appropriate babel language. I really don't know what the "root document element" is, to tell the truth... I think I see your same question on the dblatex mailing list, and the answer is a lot more knowledgable than anything I can provide. |

Hi, I received from the list mentioned by you the recommendation of install the package 'texlive-lang-spanish' and this solved the problem.
The "root document element", is simply a declaration of language feature that should be used in all documents elaborated with Docbook. I did make this declaration, but it did not be sufficient. For this reason, I suggested the citation of 'texlive-lang-spanish' package in the Debian recommendations for 'dblatex' install. Thanks newly and best regards. |
